1.Teaching objectives
(1)Knowledge objective:
Students will be able to master some key words and phrases such as A,B,C D and so on )
(2)Ability objectives:
a.Student will find out  the main idea and details of the passage.
b.student can develop  their listening and speaking skills through activities.
(3)Emotional objective:
Students will be more interested in learning English.

This is a listening and speaking lesson,which mainly introduces  some facts about X.

How to guide students to grasp the details of the passage.
(2)Difficult point:
How to improve students' listening and speaking ability and use it in their daily life
4.Major teaching procedures
Stpe1：Pre-listening(3 minutes)
Teacher shows some pictures related to the article on the PowerPoint.
Students are asked to introduce what they konw about it.
(Justification：In this way,students'interest will be aroused.And it is convenient for teacher to go on taking about the main topic.）
Step2:While-listening(8 minutes)
(1)Extensive listening
Ask students to listen to the passage for the first time.
Then students find out the main idea of the passage.
And the teacher will help to conclude.
(Justicifation:Student will get the general idea of the passage and their listening ability will be practiced.)
(2)Intensive listening
Ask students to listen to the paragraphs again carefully and  find out the specific information of X.
Later students give their answers.
Teacher shows some details on the PowerPoint.

(Justicifation:Student can understand more about the passage and improve their listening ability.)
Step3:Post-listening(4 minutes)
Students  read the article to their elbow partners and they need to correct the pronunciation.
Teacher helps to guide them to read fluently.
Students are asked to discuss the questionin group of four and they share their opinions.
